1872 Café
Our on-site coffee shop, The 1872 Café, pays tribute to Susan B. Anthony and other great women of history by offering a meeting place for the community. Homemade food, pastries and beverages are available for both our residents and the public to enjoy.

Community Amenities
Throughout the year, we host an array of planned community activities in which residents and their families are encouraged to participate. Also, residents have the opportunity to reserve the community room at no charge for a private event. In addition to the community room, a laundry facility, computer lab, and fitness center offer our residents the opportunity to enjoy every modern convenience.

Modern Luxuries with Historic Significance
The Voters Block community consists of 47 apartment homes, and 45 single family and duplex homes. Voters Block is situated on a local historic landmark—the site with Susan B. Anthony and 15 other women voted illegally in 1872. The community has been designed with the goal of preserving the historical integrity of the surrounding community. Each home or apartment is equipped with a full kitchen, dishwasher and abundant storage. Construction was completed in 2013.

Affordable Rent
In the apartments, the monthly rent includes individually controlled heat, hot water, and garbage service and is surprisingly affordable for the quality and features provided. Funding from federal, state and local governmental programs allow us to offer high quality of homes and apartments to those who qualify and are in need.

Management and Maintenance Staff
Preserving the distinction of the historic landmark and providing the comforts of modern living are of utmost importance to Home Leasing. Our full-time community and maintenance staff will work diligently to ensure the community is well-managed and maintained. Maintenance requests will be addressed within 24 hours, including on weekends when our maintenance emergency service is available 24/7.

Voters Block is conveniently located in the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood and on the RTS bus line. Residents can easily walk, drive, or utilize public transportation to access downtown Rochester, city landmarks, local shopping and city parks. Safety is the highest priority to Home Leasing. The apartments are equipped with a limited access entry system to ensure the privacy and safety of our residents. The apartment buildings are also equipped with security cameras and on-site security staff that regularly patrol the community for the reassurance and security of our residents.

Parking is located conveniently at the building to ensure that our residents and their guests can always find parking. Residents will register their car with the community and receive a parking pass.
