Kibler Senior Apartments

The Kibler Senior Apartment building was originally a junior high school that opened in 1925. Located in Tonawanda, NY, the building was designed by noted architect E.B. Green. It was in continuous use as a school until 1983. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Western New York Veterans Housing Coalition renovated the building, maintaining the building’s integrity through historic adaptive reuse guidelines, and converted it to a senior housing complex. Their work won the “Excellence in Historic Preservation” from the Preservation League of New York State.
