George A. DeRue
George A. DeRue has served as Vice President for Home Leasing since February 2005. Prior to this, he served as Construction Manager for Home Properties, and its predecessor, Home Leasing Corporation. Since joining Home Leasing Corporation in 1986, Mr. DeRue has focused on the development and construction of rental housing communities, medical facilities, industrial facilities, and a country club complex. At the inception of Home Properties, Mr. DeRue served as the physical inspector for the acquisition team as well as the construction manager for the development and construction of multiple projects.
Prior to joining Home Leasing, Mr. DeRue was an Estimating Manager at John P. Bell and Sons and a Surveyor at Lewis E. Kohl Engineers. Mr. DeRue has an Associates Degree in Civil Technology from Monroe Community College.
