Farmington - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently had the opportunity to present a special certificate to Farmington Gardens Apartments upon recognition of them being awarded “New Business of the Year” by the Farmington Chamber of Commerce. Senator Mike Nozzolio had a chance to speak with Sarah Werzinger and Nelson Leenhouts, of Farmington Gardens Apartments, regarding the impact of their business on the Farmington community. 

Groundbreaking for Frederick Douglass Apartments

A groundbreaking ceremony for the Frederick Douglass Apartments, part of the Voters Block Community on West Main Street, Rochester, NY was held on September 29, 2011.  Along with representatives from Home Leasing, Rochester Housing Authority, and Edgemere Development, Mayor Thomas Richards and Tom Eastman from Enterprise Community Investment spoke during a brief program. Recognitions were given to the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood Association and Dawn Noto and Barbara Hoffman.
